Apartment Review for Alden Park Towers - Detroit, MI

Well, I am a long term resident at APT. I have read the previous reviews. I wonder why people that are so unhappy to reside here contine to reside here. Maybe they should move out if they are so UNHAPPY with what is going on. This place has made a 360 degree turn around. This builiding did not get in its current condition overnight. The courtyards have not been touched in 25 years and now they are landscaped and beautiful. The fountians are working. I simply love all of my neighbors. I really keep to myself. Living in an apartment building is not for everyone. There are all walks of life here. I really think management is doing a GREAT job. Anytime I have a problem, it gets solved. I don't gossip with my neighbors about it, I go STRAIGHT to the office, because they are the only ones that can help me. Security is excellent compared to what was here before. We also have a direct number for the owener of the security company if we have any problems or concerns. As far as people "hanging" in the hall........I never see that. This place appears to have very few children. From what I hear, the renovations are to add a fitness center, a new grocery store/with bill payment and pick up & drop off cleaners. I also hear a Art Gallery is on the way. I am so happy. It will add to the gift shop and hair salon we already have. So, for those of us who love living here, lets contiue to stick together and make it better instead of joining the sour pusses that need to MOVE OUT!!!!!
