Apartment Review for Alden Park Towers - Detroit, MI

I have read the stories of the great successes for "The Northen Group". I hope I dug deep enough and one of these email addresses are linked to the owners. I hope like hell you are one of the owners of this place. I have been a resident at Alden Park Towers for almost a year and it has been the worst experience of my life time. The maintenance and management team suck!!! Here are pictures of the maintenance workers in the hallway drinking. This is the reason I have had workorders incomplete for the past seven months I have been in this hell! I have friends that live here and they have gone through the same thing. Maintenance and mangement have been seen going in residents apartments. When we go to the office and ask questions, we get blown off in the most horrible way. Alden Park Towers is not fit for a blind dog to live in. The manager with the "religion" does not care about the 98% african americans that live here and he will let you know with his condesending attitude. How can you allow someone to run the LEASING OFFICE with a "choice of religion" showing. Isn't that against fair housing? Is the Northern Group aware of what is going on in this diplorable building? Do you make vists here? I read how much money has been spent here at Alden Park, where in the hell is it? The elevators go down on a everyday bases. Imagine, living here and you want to entertain. First of all, your company has to come in the building and walk through the low life who hangs out in the hallways (with security) If they come in through the side door with you they have to walk up muddy stairs, the celiling leaks. There is dog shit on the stairs and trash. Then you come to the non-working elevator, that is pissy. Oh......don't let me forget the WEED SMELL!!!!!!!! Are you aware of the employees, one worker is breaking into units, two as you can see in the pictures are drunks. Now I hear they have hired another drunk and drug addict that sells drugs in the building. What in the hell is going on here. Are you aware of the break-ins. The units being left open. Now if we have a fire, I guess our families will sue the hell out of your company because now the fire hoses have been cut on every floor!!!!!! It is time for a Management Review. My nine year old neice can do a better job. At least she won't pad her pockets with renovation monies.
