Apartment Review for Alden Park Towers - Detroit, MI

The safety in this building is horrible. If the strange people and huge dogs lerking around the building won't kill you the the falling plaster, hanging pipes, broken stairs, defective elevators, and the leaking water will. Oh! and let's not forget the MOLD growing in every room of your apartmant. The Noise is unbelievable for those whom actually work for a living. Rap all day everyday and I am a 33yr old black women with a 15yr old child. I office staff stole money from renters and pocketed the funds. The maintence crew has NO clue how to fix anything. I called maintence to my apartment over 25 times. Freezing bedrooms, peeling paint, broken dish washer...etc. And parking oh gosh! watch your car because it will get stole or broken into....hint (gaurd shack). BE WISE DO NOT MOVE IN THAT PLACE. IT'S HELL. I MOVED OUT A MONTH AFTER MOVING IN AND I WAS GIVING A WRITTEN LETTER ADVISEING THAT I WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BREAKING MY LEASE DUE TO THE LIVING CONDITIONS AND GUESS WHAT'S ON MY CREDIT REPORT......YOU GUESSED IT ALDEN PARK TOWERS. I am currenting fighting them in court. People don't let the three rating stars foul you.
