Apartment Review for Grand Lofts - Detroit, MI

Boydell Developement has a history of being the "slum lords" of the D. Well, chalk the Grand Lofts up to another of his poorly managed lofts. I moved in toward the beginning of the Grand Lofts opening and loved my loft and location. That was until others started arriving, parking was impossible, the lot was a trash pit, and nothing was ever corrected. My ceiling was leaking and it took a week for them to fix it while they were too busy finishing other lofts in the building. Get more $$$ in! Don't worry about the chumps we already got rent from! This loft is NOT handicapped friendly. The freight elevator only works when there is an engineer available. There are stairs to the front door. The parking gate works occasionally. The floors are paper thin. The closets are unfinished and the brick bleeds on anything that touches it. I promptly moved out and never looked back. Unless things have changed for the better, I can't imagine they've gotten their if in the 3 months I lived there things happened VERY slowly.
