Apartment Review for Jeffersonian Apartments - Detroit, MI

I was so excited to hear about the current specials available after I review the properties website. I made an appointment to view the grounds and was ready to write a check! But that idea changed quickly!...When I pulled up the guard was very friendly and directed me to the leasing office. When I entered the office a women sitting behind the desk didn't appear to be enthused about what I wanted, it appeared as if I was a bother. She asked for my I.D and asked me to feel out a card (she never told me her name)! Then she proceeded to gather a brochure for me and asked me to follow her.... She didn't give much detail about the grounds, community or tenants. We went up the elevator and then I couldn't believe what I say...a laundry room/ garbage room (how nasty)...thought I would get past that and be refreshed when I walked into the model apt. But that was a negative! The leasing agent showed me an unfinished unit that had boards, paint cans, brushes and junk everywhere! I couldn't believe she wasted my time..the bathroom was dirty,the kitchen didn't have a stove or refridge......need I say more?!? i nicely said thank you and left! Is this how you treat potential residents? I'll continue my search and would advise others to do the same.
