Apartment Review
Love it!!!

I've lived at the Parkstone for about a year now, and I have to say it's everything I wanted in an apartment. The building has so much character and charm, and the manager, Keith, is absolutely great! The people living there are so friendly and the office staff is also. These apartments boast hardwood floors and many of the fixtures/moldings used during original construction. This isn't your typical layout...no cookie cutter floor plans. There is something for everyone, from a studio ($550) to a two or three bedroom with a fireplace (upwards of $1,300). There are two parking garages with monthly rates ranging from $40 to $50, and trust me, you want to pay the extra money to have the security of the parking garage. The property is located one block from Indian Village, which is the perfect place for an evening stroll. Pets are allowed (subject to an annual fee), and ALL utilities are included (outside of a $30 surcharge during the winter months to help with gas). The only downside is that this is an older building, so there is no central air. If you want to install an air conditioner, there is a $50 monthly fee (which isn't bad). Wondering why I gave some 4 star ratings.... Safety- I've never had any problems, but the building is one block from Van Dyke....enough said! Not a problem though, just go the other way during your afternoon stroll. Appearance/Condition of Unit- It's an older building, so it's not perfect. Noise Level- The apartments have hardwood floors, so if the person above you is walking with shoes on, you can most certainly hear them. If you move here, be kind...take your shoes off at the door so as not to disturb your neighbor.
